The FIDI Annual Conference is usually attended by approximately 600 representatives of FIDI Affiliates, this is THE event of the entire FIDI community. The annual conference provides members with training and best practice sessions as well as attractive social events, which all lead to fantastic networking opportunities. The annual conference is also the location for FIDI's annual General Assembly.

The Project

Missing Link has been working with FIDI for over 20 years managing the production of their annual conference. Every year the FIDI conference moves around the world and as such our role with them changes depending on location.

For those years when the conference is located in Europe, we not only manage the production but we also supply our own equipment. Missing Link provides sound, lighting and video systems along with full stage set build to supply a whole solution for the event. Onsite filming along with on-location editing of videos to be used during the event allows the client to deliver the most up-to-date information to their membership during the conference.

When the event is held outside of Europe we take on a consulting and production management role where we source suppliers, manage quotes/contracts and oversee the full production with the chosen local production company. With us controlling the production and working with local suppliers we give our client consistency year after year.
