Carlsberg wanted to raise brand awareness during the Euro qualifiers, so they decided a Ultimate Legends quiz roadshow would do this.
We were asked to produce a portable stage set to fit in various pubs around the country with a football theme. We decided a Centro system with custom graphics for the backdrop, two Centro team tables and a custom built backlit host table.
To add to the football effect we built two small replica floodlights and laid astroturf on the stage.
To minimise cabling on the stage area we sent the scores and the images from the picture round, wirelessly to two iPad’s and large 60″ LCD screens. In addition, we gave the presenters and contestants wireless tie-clip microphones.
The evenings were presented by sports commentator Chris Hollins and the team captains were football legends, Ian Rush and Peter Reid.
